Terms of Use

Last updated: June 13, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of wecircle.ca (the “Site”), operated by WeCircle from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

About WeCircle

WeCircle provides information about free and low-barrier community circles for women — including in-person walks (such as at Bear Creek Park in Surrey), online gatherings, and programs like Speak with Confidence. The Site helps you learn about our community, read stories, view upcoming events, register your interest in joining, and contact our team.

Eligibility

The Site is intended for adults. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Permitted use

You may use the Site to:

  • Learn about WeCircle programs and events
  • Submit a join registration or contact message
  • Read community stories and public content we publish

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or harassing purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, admin areas, or other users’ data
  • Submit false, misleading, or spam content through our forms
  • Scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site without our written permission
  • Interfere with the Site’s security, including bypassing reCAPTCHA or other protections

Registration and communications

When you submit the Join form, you agree to receive communications from WeCircle about the circles you selected and related community updates, unless you unsubscribe. Submitting the form does not guarantee placement in a specific event if capacity or scheduling limits apply — we will do our best to welcome you and share relevant details.

Your use of our forms is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes the personal information we collect and why.

Events and community participation

Event details on the Site (dates, locations, descriptions) are provided in good faith but may change. In-person activities may involve walking outdoors; you are responsible for your own health, footwear, and suitability for participation. Online circles may use third-party video platforms; we will share joining instructions separately when applicable.

Participation in WeCircle gatherings is also subject to our Community Guidelines.

Content on the Site

Stories, images, text, logos, and other materials on the Site are owned by WeCircle or used with permission. You may share links to our pages, but you may not reproduce or commercially exploit our content without consent.

If you submit text through our forms (for example, “why you want to join”), you grant us permission to use that information to process your request and communicate with you. We do not publish your private form answers as public stories without your separate consent.

No professional advice

WeCircle circles are peer community spaces for connection and conversation. Nothing on the Site or in our gatherings is medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you need professional support, please consult a qualified provider in your area.

Third-party links and services

The Site may link to social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), email ([email protected]), or services used for analytics and spam protection (Google). We are not responsible for third-party websites or their terms.

Administration area

Access to /login and the admin panel is restricted to authorized WeCircle administrators. Unauthorized access attempts are prohibited and may be logged.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not guarantee that every event detail or page is complete or up to date at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WeCircle and its organizers, volunteers, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in community activities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100) unless required otherwise by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WeCircle from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the changes.
